Enhancing Legume Cultivars through Agronomy, Breeding, and Genetics

چکیده
Legumes are a multipurpose crop species, with great economic value, which, worldwide, commonly cultivated for human food, livestock fodder, industrial raw materials, and soil health enhancement. Over the last few decades, numerous research projects have been conducted genetic improvements of legumes, in order to meet Sustainable Development Goals 2015–2030. Remarkable progress has made legume genetics, genomics, breeding. The first references genome plants were published 2010, these complete draft sequences Glycine max. chromosome scale high-quality assembly annotations available many species today, including max; Lotus japonicus; Medicago ruthenica (L.); truncatula; Phaseolus lunatus; Mucuna pruriens; Vicia sativa; Trifolium pratense; Lupinus angustifolius; Cajanus cajan; Vigna radiata ssp.; Cicer arietinum. Large-scale transcriptomic, genotyping, phenotyping data generated from this diverse panel cultivars their varietal improvements. This Special Issue presents collection variety articles that cover recent authors addressed applications phenotypic genotypic diversity selection best cultivars; morphological traits local variety, estimation agronomic performances resistant susceptible nutritional characteristics seed protein; genome-wide association studies on isolation; characterization function agronomically important genes.

In broilers, heat stress results in reduced feed intake, digestion inef ficiency, impaired metabolism, and death. Our objective was to initiate a study on the effects of heat stress by profiling the transcriptome of a metabolically active organ, the liver, from heat-stressed and non-heat stressed broilers. From 21 to 28 d of age, heat-stressed broilers were exposed to daily 7-h cycles of 35°C...
